Geosynthetic clay liner is a kind of geosynthetics used in artificial lake water, landfill, underground garage, roof garden, pool, oil depot and chemical yard, solving the problems of sealing, isolation and leakage prevention, and has good effect and strong destructive resistance.
There are two kinds Geosynthetic clay liner by category, needling type and film covered type.
Needling type:
This type consists of three layers, the top is nonwoven geotextile, the middle is natural sodium bentonite, and the bottom is woven geotextile. This type of GCL is widely used in water conservancy and landscape projects such as artificial lakes, water diversion channels, irrigation channels, pools, reservoirs, dams, and environmental projects such as landfill, river regulation, ecological park, wetland and so on.
Film covered type:
Geosynthetic clay liner has one additional HDPE membrane bonded with the nonwoven geotextile. This kind is mainly applied to underground construction and municipal traffic engineering, which are rich in underground water resources and require more strict waterproofing and seepage control, such as basement, subway, tunnel, underground passage, airport, railway, municipal road and so on.
